Red Raider Student Employment Center

Search for on and off-campus jobs or sign up for email notifications about positions that interest you through a portal ran through the Financial Aid Office.

University Career Center

Can assist in preparing for job searches, such as resume/cover letter writing, mock interviews, and career exploration. The University Career Center also features a career closet (business professional clothing for those in need) and a free professional headshot photobooth.

Red to Black Financial Coaching

Provides financial education and awareness to students through individual coaching sessions, presentations, outreach booths, and resource referrals.

Processes tuition and fees and can assist with loans.

Raider Red’s Food Pantry

Provides supplemental non-perishable food and hygiene items to students who may face hardships and is designed to complement other resources available.

Offers a wide variety of legal services to Student Service Fee paying registered TTU and TTU/HSC students, including assistance on reading and understanding leases.

Safety

Texas Tech Police Department

Aims to maintain a safe and secure campus environment; provides crime prevention and safety information online.

Transportation

Car Clinic

Free car clinic offered twice per year through Transportation and Parking Services where mechanics from Scott’s Complete Car Care checks fluids, belts, tires, and other car essentials.

Holiday Bus Trips

Charter bus trips to major Texas cities for students during holiday breaks.

Raider Ride

Nighttime shuttle service that provides students with on-demand rides on campus from 6pm-2:45am, 7 days a week.

Transportation & Parking Services

Grants on-campus parking permits and provides other transportation resources throughout campus.

Bike Clinic

Free Bike Clinic on campus every October and April, hosted by Transportation and Parking Services.

Bike Shop

Student-run bike shop within the University Recreation Center that offers a variety of services, such as tube replacement, brake adjustment, chain repair, and more. Free estimates available, with some services requiring additional payment.

A guide created by Risk Intervention and Safety Education (RISE) that offers resources that prioritize well-being and preparation for life’s challenges.

RISE (Risk Intervention and Safety Education)

Offers education and resources related to wellness, including information on mental health, substance use, sexual health/healthy relationships, and violence prevention.

Student Counseling Center

Provides consultation and counseling services to students, including online therapy via TELUS and Therapy Assistance Online, group counseling, individual counseling, and the MINDSPA.

Student Health Services

On-campus medical care clinic for students.

Texas Tech Crisis HelpLine

Provides 24/7/365 assistance for students experiencing suicidal thoughts, mental health crises, sexual assault, and interpersonal violence.

University Recreation

Comprehensive fitness, leisure and wellness department with workout facilities and fitness programs/services.
